summer dinner party

Placemat // Paper Plates // Acrylic Goblets // Plastic Mason Jar Pitcher // String Lights // Beverage Tub // Condiment Caddy

Now that Memorial Day has officially come and gone, we are finally headed into summer. That amazing season where everything is more laid back, the days are long and entertaining at home is easy and breezy. I feel like, in the summer, it’s so much easier to pull together a get together with friends and family. How easy is it to fire up the barbecue, throw together some salads, mix up some drinks, and invite some people over for a summer dinner party? Well it’s even easier than you think because I pulled together some fab pieces that are inexpensive and can be found at my favorite standbys, Pier One and Target.

When it comes to the summer dinner party the more colorful the tableware the better. And if it comes in acrylic, even better! Why bother with regular dinner dishes when paper plates come in such pretty colors and patterns. I found this great set at Pier One and I love how festive they are. As for the beverages, even if you are hosting a small get together, a steel beverage tub is always a cute detail. Just set it out on a table, fill with ice and your guests can help themselves to the drinks of their choice. I’m in love with this pretty blue one that I found at Target. And there’s no need to go too crazy with the decor. Hang some lantern string lights and you have instant ambiance.

Hooray for summer and hooray for those fun filled summer party nights!
